The ERM working group nailed down elements for resource records for Trials, determining which fields will be populated, with which codes, and started to get a handle on the workflow. Email ticklers are proving to be extremely useful, and we were able to conceptualize some great ways to incorporate their use.
Contact records will start to be worked on in parallel, starting with the finite list of SerialsSolutions providers. The relation between resource record contact codes and our existing vendor codes is not well understood yet. This will have to be clearly articulated and well defined before much work can go forward. Models in use at other academic libraries will be very helpful here.

More fields will be enabled to display in staff mode via webpub.def on the staging server, so that the group can see the various effects of the coding, where the different parts of the records show up, and what elements contribute to the display.  The better we understand the structure, the better we will understand what is possible, and what constraints we must operate within.
