Final record processing for OCLC Worldcat November 30, 2006

Finally, the last set of ‘unresolved’ records — those records that did not pass during the initial phase — was processed by OCLC. About 38,000 records in this last batch were added to OCLC in October 2006.

Roughly 5500 records did not make it in whatsoever.  These records will require scrutiny first to understand what did not make it, and why; and then some manual intervention if they are destined to be loaded into Worldcat.

With the retro loading of OCLC records complete, we can now set up the process for regular updates to Worldcat.
